Napoleon: He is cunning, shrewd and selfish. He is also power-hungry and ruthless. His cunning, shrewdness and ruthlessness make him an effective leader, but his selfishness and power-mad personality makes him a tyrant. Would you like to live under his iron-fisted rule as his servant or as a commoner? Would you even like to live under him?
Snowball: He is idealistic, genuine in wanting to better the lives of others, and have good oral skills. However, he is not practical enough, and he is also not aware of other politicians' motives and actions. Would you like to live under his leadership? You will probably have a better live in the end, but would have to slog very hard now.
Boxer: He is very hardworking and is very caring. However, he is also very stupid. You probably would have to work hard, but would have a very caring leader. However, your leader might be overthrown soon.
Benjamin: He is cynical, does not volunteer, but never shirks from work either. Under him, it will probably be a very laid-back farm, with equal amounts of leisure and work. Your lives would not become worse, but it wouldn't become better either.

I feel that your description of Benjamin is too unfair. You see, you never say about his wisdom. He is fair and never bears grudges. Doing nothing except for critical moments is just like maintaining status quo and striving to further maintain it. Thus, the animals will lead better lives than Jones' time but still, from there onwards, improvement shall be minimal.
