today's term 2's 1st IS lesson.
i think that the multimedia essentials module is rather interesting. the photoshop lesson is very engaging and i learnt a lot of new things.
however, on the issue of homework, it is rather hard to solve as most of us don't have photoshop at home. I think i might have, but it's probably a very old version, which will be lousy.
the homework is quite fun though (putting your own face on a movie poster), however, i do not get the idea of feathering. I tried it out at school, but it did not seem to work.
regards,
han wei

Haha, personally, I prefer C++ to multimedia essentials. Multimedia essentials is a very confusing topic and I find memorising easier than making use of different tools to come up with a special image. And also, before you perform a certain function, there are still various stuff and steps to do before carrying out the steps. If not, the consequences may be dire. By the way, u want to stay back on Mon to do both IS and RS?
ReplyDeleteBTW, where is your p-man? U know, the apPallAChian MountAiNs? Don't tell me you can't read from such a blatant encryption of ******.
ReplyDeleteI also find photoshop more interesting and useful than C++. It is a seriously good tool that will come into good use...although it can be confusing at times(:
ReplyDeleteAnd Jin Yang, There are already so many things to memorise and yet you want to memorise more?haha
Don't worry, my infocom studies is definitely worse than yours but the lessons are very interesting and they'll equip us with tools that can help us all our life like programming and photoshop. These are very useful. Now they are teaching multimedia and to be able to edit photos and make 'em nice, that is something special and fun to do!
